PHIL 324 Technology and Human Values
A philosophical examination of social and ethical issues relating to technology. Topics include: ethical responsibilities of engineers; the ethics of risk assessment and cost-benefit analysis, environmental sustainability and technology; technology and human nature; technology and globalization; and the impact of modern technology on human values. (Satisfies the "Moral Values" general education requirement).
Prerequisite
Sophomore standing or higher.
