PSYC 224 Data Literacy and Critical Thinking

Students will learn common ways in which complex information is presented, both academically and in popular media, with an emphasis on the (mis)match between data structure and cognitive processing. This course will prepare students to be responsible consumers and producers of information, to examine motivations of information sources, and to support their positions with appropriate logic and references.
