SOC 202 Contemporary Social Problems
The course focuses on a "systems approach" to social reality and provides students with the opportunity to comprehend, analyze, and evaluate social conditions, problems, and alternative solutions. Seeks to explore the critical assumptions that inform clashing views on controversial social issues. Students develop and practice skills of social policy analysis.
Prerequisite
SOC 101 with a grade of "C" or higher and junior standing.
