Politics and Law, Bachelor of Arts

Course Requirements (PLAW)

Politics and Law is a degree for high-achieving Political Science majors who know they want to pursue a law degree. The student will earn their B.A. from CBU and finish their law degree from the University of Memphis in six years instead of seven. The degree requirements mirror those of the Political Science major to allow students the opportunity to switch between these two majors through their junior year.

How it works: The student takes their first three years of courses at CBU and begins law school at The University of Memphis in their fourth year.  When they complete their first year of law school, they will be granted the B.A. degree from CBU and then continue on for two years at the law school to complete that degree.
