BIOL 414 Animal Histology

A study of the microscopic and ultramicroscopic structure of vertebrate (primarily mammalian) tissues and organs, i.e., microscopic anatomy. Special emphasis is placed on the relationship of structure to function. Group I Biology elective.

BIOL 111 and BIOL 111L and BIOL 112 and BIOL 112L with grades of "C" or higher and CHEM 114 and CHEM 114L or higher, seven additional credits in biology at the 200 level or higher, and junior or senior standing.
