SOC 101 Introduction to Sociology
An introduction to the sociological perspective. Sociology seeks to explain the origin and functioning of social behavior as it appears in such areas as the family, religion, economic structures, political structures, schools, deviant behavior, cultural norms, and other areas of human social interaction. As part of the process, students will be introduced to basic sociological terms, concepts, and theories.
