Political Science majors acquire a depth of knowledge and understanding concerning political institutions, political behavior, political philosophy, and political theory. They also strengthen their analytical, communication, and research abilities.  The skills of Political Science majors are valued in a wide spectrum of potential careers including business, government, media, non-profits, law, and higher education.
