CE 110 Introduction to Civil Engineering

This course provides an introduction to the different concentrations within civil engineering: structural engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, water resource engineering, and environmental engineering. This course promotes critical thinking and application of the engineering design process to solve civil engineering problems, including project planning and budgeting. Incorporates hands-on lab activities and emphasizes the proper use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, along with database management through written assignments, oral presentations and spreadsheet computations.
