CHEM 107 Chemistry and the Community Garden

The course will focus on topics related to sustainability and the Community Garden. These will include an introduction to the atmosphere and weather systems that affect Memphis, climate change, ground water, the hydrologic cycle, and erosion. Additional topics related to horticulture, including minerals, soil, and higher plant morphology and physiology will be included.
