CJ 210 Criminal Law

Criminal Law is an examination of some of the substantive aspects of criminal law, including principles of criminal liability, specific analysis of elements of crimes, and substantive defenses to crimes. Throughout the course, there is an ongoing examination of Constitutional safeguards that control the substantive and procedural aspects in the criminal justice system. Course instruction consists of lecture, use of hypothetical case studies and reading and analysis of selected laws and court decisions.
