FIN 327 Financial Management I

An introduction to the basic concepts, principles and analysis techniques of finance as applied to business organizations. The basis for virtually all financial analysis methodology lies in discounted cash flow analysis which is covered in this course. DCF techniques are then applied to areas of basic corporate decision-making involving the acquisition or replacement of physical assets and the decision to pursue capital projects. FIN 327 is a quantitative, problem solving course.
