MIS 114 Introduction to Business Applications – Microsoft Access

This course is intended to provide to students a working knowledge of using Microsoft Access and an introduction to databases. Using the process of training, project, and exam, the student will learn key skills in creating and maintaining a database with Microsoft Access. This includes understanding how databases work, and database objects, how to query a database, maintaining and updating records in a database, creating reports and forms, multiple table forms, and advance reports and forms functions. Additional instruction to introduce database design, using SQL, and administering a database system will be provided in this course.
