EDFD 606 Legal and Social Issues (Formerly MED 606)

Students examine the statutory and judicial influences upon education, both historical and current. Through exposure to social and cultural issues and dilemmas, students engage in dialogue about personal and professional rights and responsibilities as an educator. The student prepares position papers on the legally and socially appropriate roles of the educator in both private and public educational settings.
