READ 615 Curriculum and Methods in Language Arts (MTR)

This course examines the critical role of early literacy in the PreK-5 classroom. Students are introduced to the components of reading which include phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, and writing. Students explore data driven decision making in assessing and giving feedback for literacy related problems in the classroom and lesson planning. Credits: 4
