RS 200 Understanding Religion

An introduction to religion in general, this course is intended to engage students in exploring the essential components of religion through a study of religious belief, experience, and practice in Christianity and other religious traditions. This course will address some important existential and theological questions by engaging sacred scripture, symbol, ritual, and ethics.
