Political Science Minor

Course Requirements

A minor in Political Science consists of 18 hours distributed as follows:

6 to 9 hours in Political Science

Students are required to take 6 to 9 hours from the following courses:

POLS 112	American Government	3
POLS 113	World Politics	3
POLS 115	Nations and States (Comparative Politics)	3

6 to 9 hours chosen from Political Science at the 200 level or higher

Students are required to complete 6 to 9 hours from POLS at the 200 level or higher.

0 to 3 hours chosen from

Students may take up to 3 hours from the following courses:

ECON 215	Principles of Macroeconomics	3
GS 200	Foundations of Global Studies	3
PHIL 219	Social and Political Philosophy	3
PHIL 220	Contemporary Moral Issues	3
SPCH 125	Speech Communication	3
RS 270	World Religions	3

A maximum of 3 hours POLS internship credit can apply to a minor.
