BIOL 414 Animal Histology

A study of the microscopic and ultramicroscopic structure of vertebrate (primarily mammalian) tissues and organs, i.e., microscopic anatomy. Special emphasis is placed on the relationship of structure to function. Group I Biology elective.

BIOL 112 and BIOL 112L with grades of "C" or higher, eight additional credits in biology at the 200 level or higher with "C" or higher, and junior or senior standing. . Recommended: BIOL 218 and BIOL 218L or BIOL 312 and BIOL 312L.
