CMHC 660 Legal and Ethical Issues in Counseling

This advanced course examines historical and philosophical underpinnings of professional ethics in counseling, laws and legal considerations, application of ethical decision-making theories and processes, and analysis of more complex ethical and legal cases. Students consider moral-ethical dilemmas faced by counselors including, but not limited to, dual relationships, tele-behavioral health, supervision, professionalism, research, and conflict resolution.
