ART 475 Senior Seminar
A capstone studio course culminating in the development, completion, and public presentation of a cohesive body of original artwork that demonstrates advanced technical proficiency, conceptual development, and professional studio practice. Working in consultation with faculty, students investigate self-directed themes and research within their chosen area of emphasis while refining artistic direction through sustained studio production, critiques, written reflection, and artist statement development. The course culminates in the planning, installation, and public exhibition of the Senior BFA Exhibition, accompanied by professional portfolio and presentation materials consistent with program learning outcomes and expectations for graduation in the visual arts.
