PHAS 400 Introductory Clerkship I

This six-hour course is an opportunity for the discerning student to obtain valuable first-hand experience by witnessing the activities of a practicing Physician Assistant or other medical professional in a clinical setting. The experience will allow the student to develop greater insight into the role and practice of a Physician Assistant. Students will have set assignments that will be evaluated for the development of critical thinking skills required for education and practice. Students wishing to take this course must apply and be approved by the faculty of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. This is a mandatory course for students following the MSPAS Pathway for CBU Natural Science Majors.
