PHAS 403 Medical Terminology

This course will introduce the student to the "language of medicine". Students will gain an appreciation for the prefix, root and suffix of terminology and the application in the medical arts. This course will also focus on the spelling and common abbreviations used in medical settings. This course has similar content to that of BIOL 213 and will not be offered if available.
