PHAS 402 Introduction to the Health Professions
Health care in the United States is provided by a variety of professional and paraprofessional entities. This course will introduce the student to many of the entities that constitute the healthcare workforce. Students will appreciate the complexity of the health care system and the inter-relationship of the roles in providing care to patients across the life span and in a variety of socioeconomic environments. This course will build upon the exposure the student has experienced in PAS 400.
