MPAS 625 Foundations of PA Practice IV

This course is the fourth in a series of four sequenced to build on the basic concepts, facts, skills and principles that are essential toward success as a physician assistant and toward entrance into the profession.  Lectures, small group discussions, assignments, readings and class discussions are the teaching strategies for this course.  Topics addressed during this semester include professional issues debating the PA name change, cultural competency with the care of multiple underserved populations in the US, coding and billing, care of the disabled patient, and intellectual honesty/academic integrity/professional conduct.
