PSYC 325 Topics in Aging

This course focuses on the following issues in aging: the impact of aging on the individual, the family, and society; the quality of later life; societal attitudes toward old age; problems and potentials of aging; retirement; living environments in later life; societal policies, programs and services for older Americans. The diversity in the aging process due to differences in gender, race, and social class is emphasized.
