PSYC 364 Stereotyping and Prejudice

This course will analyze and discuss issues related to stereotyping and prejudice, including psychological theory and empirical research on the topic. We will examine the origins, functions, and consequences of stereotyping and prejudice as well as measurement strategies. We will examine issues surrounding the persons both engaging in and targeted by stereotyping and prejudice and discuss historical and contemporary social and political issues relevant to the course.
