ART 208 Ceramics I

This course is an introduction to ceramic materials and techniques including the fundamentals of coil and slab. Topics covered will broadly address making ceramic objects and include visual design, functional design, hand building, sculpting, surfacing, and firing. Projects will vary in focus from skill building to open-ended creative problem solving.
